Ms. Emily Short

Title(s): Lower School Teacher

Emily Short teaches English at the French International School and also serves as an English support teacher. Previously, She taught at Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles and at Canterbury School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. 

Originally from Indiana, Ms. Short has lived in Wisconsin and California and currently resides in Philadelphia. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College and her Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. 

Ms. Short enjoys working in a school that celebrates and respects its students' multiple diverse backgrounds. She loves that she has found a place where she can combine her love of teaching with her appreciation for the French language. 
In her free time, Ms. Short enjoys cooking, baking, crocheting, and exploring Philadelphia.
