Ms. Fabienne Taskin

Title(s): Lower School Assistant Teacher

Fabienne Taskin joined the French International School of Philadelphia in September 2023, bringing with her 25 years of experience as a kindergarten teacher and psychomotricity specialist. Originating from Belgium and a native French speaker, she also spent three years training future kindergarten teachers at Haute École Vinci, where she shared her expertise to equip them with the best possible teaching ‘toolkit’.

Passionate about her work, Mrs. Taskin is enthusiastic, curious, and dedicated to making learning a joyful experience for children. Throughout her career, she has focused on integrating the wonders of nature into her teaching methods.

In addition to her primary teaching responsibilities, she has enriched her pedagogical repertoire by leading "French as a Learning Language" workshops for allophone children.

In her free time, she enjoys walking and cycling, dancing, practicing yoga, exploring interactive exhibitions, and she's always eager to embrace new adventures!
