Ms. Kate Ferguson

Title(s): Upper School Teacher

Kate Ferguson is our Middle School English Language Arts teacher. After receiving her degree from Kutztown University, Ms. Ferguson went on to obtain her TESOL certificate from Cambridge University. She has her teaching license from Texas where she first taught Middle School English Language Arts and EAL at a public school in Houston.

Growing up overseas Ms. Ferguson attended international schools in Japan and Thailand. The experience instilled in her a great love of learning and exploring different cultures. She taught at international schools in Japan, Belgium, Denmark and Vietnam. She taught Middle and High School English, Language B and Drama also serving as the Deputy Head of English in the International Baccalaureate program at the International School Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Ms. Ferguson moved back to Philadelphia with her dog to be closer to her family. She enjoys theatre, traveling, learning languages and supporting sports teams.
