Ms. Stéphanie Zenou
Title(s): Lower School Teacher
Stéphanie Zenou joined the French International School of Philadelphia in 2002. She serves as a prekindergarten 3 French teacher.
Ms. Zenou believes that it is important for children to learn a second language because it opens their minds to a new way of thinking, to new cultures and new customs. It helps them to understand the world in a different manner and challenges the students while learning. She finds her young students’ smiles and excitement to learn both contagious and rewarding.
Born and raised in Ermont, Val-d'Oise, France (a suburb of Paris), Ms. Zenou received her bachelor’s degree in English from La Sorbonne, Paris. She attended Rosemont College in Pennsylvania as a graduate student from which she received a teaching certification.
In her spare time, Ms. Zenou enjoys yoga, independent movies, reading, travel and spending time with her two sons.
